Find the man in between the coffee beans...
Doctors have concluded that if you find the man in 3 seconds that your right half of your brain is better developed than most people.
If you find the man between 3 seconds and one minute, then your right half of the brain is developed normally.
If you find the man between one minute and 3 minutes, then the right half of your brain is functioning slowly and you need to eat more protein.
If you have not found the man after 3 minutes, your right half of your brain is a mess, and the only advice is to look more for these types of exercises to make that part of the brain stronger.
The man is really there... really.
Jayne here,
It took me almost a full minute because I was expecting it to be one of those "magic eye" trick pictures. Interesting how my beliefs can slow me down!

HAHAHA, it took me like 30 seconds to find the mans face! i thought the nuts made up a face! but then i found it and i started laughing! HAHAHA, i dont know which brain i am but im left handed.

I'm right brained (left handed), and I thought I couldn't find it at first. I looked at the wrong place, I thought all the beans would form a man or something. :)

I'm very right brained, and I saw it almost instantly. Scanning the image block by block seems like it would take longer than examining the whole, because the face is rather evident.

It took me over two minutes to find the face, and I had to do a grid scanning method to finally see it. FYI, I'm a computer programmer - I'm not sure if I even have a right brain.

I found him right away. But, as a teacher, I keep "I SPY" books in my classroom. They are great to get kids noticing details.

I was looking for a full figure of a man, which is what the instructions stated. What I wasn't looking for, and what is there, is the top half of a face from the nose up.
Had the instructions stated 'find the top half of a man's face hidden in the coffee beans' I wouldn't have spent so long looking for the wrong thing.
Instructions need to be clearer for most people.

I found a coffee bean with a nose right away. it took me a little longer to find all the coffee bean shaped men without noses

I disagree... a right brained person will look at the whole picture, while a left brained will scan the image methodically, looking for the man, finding it more easily than the right brained person trying to take the whole picture in at once

Found the guy in less than 3 seconds. But, I guess as a math teacher, I look for patterns. By looking for patterns, I also look for a break in the pattern. This was sent to the entire campus by one of the science teachers to do for an experiment. The students were doing it as well.

Yeah. I think the way they said to find the man was a little confusing. I thought it would be like some sort of illusion, like a man "among" the beans like the beans formed a man. Well, whatever I guess.

Found the sound distracting, ended up turning it off, then looked back at the beans and the head popped right up. Not sure what sound has to do with anything, but suggest it's either incorporated into the test results or removed.

There are actually TWO men there; I spotted a tiny kneeling figure a couple of beans in at 2 o'clock almost at once, as (like Swift Loris) I was looking for a whole man. It took awhile longer to find the partial face peering out....

If you'd said, "Find the man's face in between the coffee beans," I'd have seen it almost immediately. But I was looking for a body. (Also, just to be pedantic and confirm the suspicion that I'm too left-brained, it should be "Find the man among the beans," not "between the beans.")

They one who dreamed this up is really a bean brain.

Same as Jayne...looking for everything but one bean. Didn't know if I was suppose to look for a head, face, body using all the beans. Oh well, lesson learned. As far as the brain thing...another myth. If you are still looking, look at the bottom in the middle and you'll see a forhead, right eye and nose. Very obvious when you do find it.

Anyone who thinks this has anything to do with a 'left/right brain' thing or that it's in the least bit scientifically validated needs to spend less time believing everything that gets dished up to them and more time actually exercising their brain.

Ok, I saw it immediatley, which mean my right brain functions very well - but what about the other half of my brain? I would hate to think that I only have 1/2 a functioning brain......
