can you put normal stickers on your nails?

I was going to put down a base coat first and then make a collage like thing on my nails with some stickers I have. then I was going to just cover it with a top coat.
do you think this would stay? any suggestions on how to make it last, etc?

Let the base coat dry only until it’s tacky (so work fast). Then put several layers of top coat on, letting them dry between each layer. It should stay for a while, until the top coats chip off. If you put on a fresh layer of top coat every day, it will last longer.
